This website is a companion to the book Sensible Guitar.

Please note that this website is not yet complete. However, pages will remain viewable while in progress, and lots of helpful supplemental material has already been posted.

We plan to have a site that is seamlessly integrated with the book. If you have Sensible Guitar, you will find additional material for any page you're working on. Material will include text, audio, and graphics.

The Info & Advice page also comprises a large portion of this website. There is general information about learning or teaching the guitar. Lots of the info is geared toward parents of younger students who have concerns about what is involved in starting guitar lessons. (Most of the information applies equally well to other instruments as well.) You do not need a copy of Sensible Guitar in order to appreciate this information.
