Welcome to the Sensible Guitar website.

This website is a companion to Sensible Guitar, an instructional method book for all guitar students. The site's main function is to provide supplemental material for students and teachers using the book. However, the "Getting Started" pages are offered as a service to potential students (or, more exactly, the parents of young students), and there's a section for teachers, too. All of the material is provided by the book's author and publisher, Chris Cass, a long-time music educator who teaches guitar in southern Connecticut. Any subjective viewpoints or recommendations are the author's own. Your questions, responses, or differences of opinion are welcome via email: chris@sensibleguitar.com.
